On the Donor
In 2012, the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers Educational Trust kindly pledged an annual donation to support scholarships for undergraduates majoring in Actuarial Science at The University of Hong Kong, with the objective of encouraging tertiary education in insurance.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded to Year 3 or above students reading the degree of Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science (BSc(ActuarSc)) who satisfy the following criteria:
- be permanent residents of Hong Kong;
- have achieved a CGPA of 3.0 or above;
- be among the top nine local students in the class; and
- have financial need.
