Hong Kong Dental Association Scholarship
On the Donor
In 1991, Procter & Gamble (H.K.) Ltd., through the Hong Kong Dental Association (HKDA), agreed to donate, for an initial period of three years, two scholarships of the value of HK$5,000 each. In 1994, the HKDA agreed to donate two scholarships of the value of HK$2,000 each to be awarded annually. In 2001, the HKDA increased the award to HK$2,500 each.
Purpose and Scope
Two scholarships shall be awarded each year to the final year students of the BDS curriculum on the basis of academic merit as reflected in examination performance and continuous assessment results in the preceding years of the BDS degree curriculum. Where candidates are of equal academic merit, participation in extra-curricular activities shall be taken into account.
