On the Donor
In 2017, Ms Lidia Chan pledged a donation to the University for the establishment of a student exchange scholarship in memory of her late husband, Mr Chan Kin-Shing.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate students who will be taking part in academic exchange to universities under the HKU Worldwide Undergraduate Student Exchange Programme, mainly based on academic merit.
The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with other merit-based scholarships administered by the University for the same activity. The Scholarship may be held concurrently with non-merit-based financial aids.
Scholarship awardees are required to submit reports upon completion of their exchange.
