On the Donor
In December 2016, Chan Family Investment Corporation Ltd. donated a sum to set up scholarships, in the name of Dr Chan Sui Kau, for students in the Doctor of Public Administration programme (HKU DPA), the first professional doctorate in Public Administration in Greater China. DPA students may have a study trip at the Chinese Academy of Governance to learn more about the governance experience in China.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded to students enrolled in the Doctor of Public Administration programme (HKU DPA), based on academic and professional merits at the time of admission. Financial need may also be taken into consideration.
The Scholarship shall be tenable for a total of four years, subject to satisfactory academic performance being maintained.
