On the Donor

During the 25th Anniversary Dinner of the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering held on 16th January, 1999, graduates of the Department donated to establish the HKU Industrial Engineering Alumni Scholarship Fund for award of scholarships to undergraduate students of the Department.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded in second semester annually to a maximum of two students reading Year 2 of an undergraduate degree programme offered by the Deparment of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering.

The award shall be made on the basis of academic merit (admitted into the programme with outstanding academic results and have outstanding academic achievement subject to awardees' entrance qualifications, their YGPA being 3.5 or above in the first year study) and on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
