HKU Postgraduate Fellowships in Integrative Medicine
On the Donor
In June 2013, Professor Vivian Taam Wong (黃譚智媛教授), Mr Thomas CH Chan (陳俊豪先生), the Fong's Family Foundation (方潤華基金), and the Fong Shu Fook Tong Foundation (方樹福堂基金) donated a sum to the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine for the establishment of a fellowship scheme to benefit research students (MPhil/PhD) who have a keen interest in the development of integrative medicine.
Purpose and Scope
The Fellowships shall be awarded on the basis of:
(i) academic merits;
(ii) quality of research proposals (for PhD candidates only) which must be endorsed by the candidates' supervisors; and
(iii) relevance of the candidates' research field to integrative medicine.
Preference would be given to students reading for the HKU-King's College London Joint PhD programme with HKU being the home institution.
The Fellowships may be held concurrently with other awards/scholarships awarded by the University.
