Chater Memorial Scholarship

The Chater MemorialScholarship was established in 1928 from fund raised by public subscriptions in memory of the late Sir Paul Chater. The purpose of the Scholarship, with an initial award value of HK$800 per year, was to assist deserving students, on the basis of the Matriculation Examination, to study at The University of Hong Kong.

Purpose and Scope

For the academic year 2016-17, the scholarship will be awarded to local undergraduate student(s) beginning the second year of a degree course in any Faculty, on the basis of academic merit.
