John Swire Donor Scholarship
On the Donor
The John Swire and Sons (HK) Ltd. is a long-time supporter of the University. Among its many generous donations, it provides full scholarships for outstanding undergraduate students.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded to selected Year 1 undergraduates on the basis of academic merits as shown in university studies and the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination; leadership qualities and financial need will also be taken into account.
(Note: The John Swire Donor Scholarship cannot be concurrently held with any other scholarships administered by the University.)
Application Timeline:
- Applications are usually accepted in Semester One of each academic year.
- Applications for the 2022-23 Scholarship will open in late August 2022 and close in late September 2022. For details, please refer to 2022-23 General Round Scholarship Applications. Results are expected to be available around May/June 2023.
