HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship
On the Donor
Since 1997, the Hongkong Bank Foundation contributed in scholarships, bursaries and other development awards to more than 300 students from tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. It covers a wide range of scholarships such as scholarships for local, mainland and international students, for overseas exchange, for students with disabilities, etc.
Purpose and Scope
The HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship usually opens for applications in September/October each year. It shall be awarded to full-time undergraduate students who:
- are Hong Kong permanent residents with the right of abode in Hong Kong;
- have achieved good academic results (CGPA of 3.7) as at the end of the first semester of 2022-23;
- well-rounded and active in community service; and
- have strong commitment to Hong Kong.
(Note: Students must demonstrate strong financial needs. Preferences will be given to those from a financially disadvantaged background.)
2022-23 Application Timeline:
Application deadline: 12:00 noon, November 30, 2022
Interviews will be held some time in February 2023
